Speyer Volleyball: A Season of Teamwork and Hustle!

We said farewell to our Volleyball season and in their final game, our Dragons stuck to their season-long winning ways of teamwork and hustle! 

Taking on league foe, the Gaynor Gators, our Dragons handled the first set with determination as  the score was tight throughout! Down most of the game, they persevered and with great hustle plays and passes by Francesca V., Stella L., and Lucille K., they turned it around and came out on top 25:18! That energy kept going — with good serving by Lucy M. and Whitney T., the Dragons went on a scoring run and took the second set 25:13! In the final set of the season, Jiahui L. and Anna O. showed some Dragon fire with great serves and secured the win at 18:16! As the buzzer sounded on the game, it was 3-0 Speyer!

Throughout their final game, all of our players, even those on the bench, were loud and energized, cheering, calling in/outs, and saying "shake it off"! Meanwhile, on the court, all six players hustled and did their best to go for every ball – most balls didn't hit the ground before someone either touched it or chased after it!

We are SO proud of this team — this season was one of growth both individually and as a team. Our athletes transformed, gaining confidence and power in their game play and their voices in each game! With many new players to the squad, the overall improvement by everyone cannot be underestimated.
