Thank you for your interest in Speyer — we are now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year!

At Speyer, our faculty is committed to the needs of gifted learners who are insatiably curious and who thrive in a collaborative community of like-minded peers. Our students are encouraged to delve deeper and pause to reflect about what matters most — compassion, integrity, optimism, and determination. Through an interdisciplinary curriculum that responds to their students’ inquiry, Speyer’s faculty cultivate students’ social and emotional development alongside their intellect and physical well-being.

Our students are empowered to express their creativity and make personal connections both in and outside the classroom. Most importantly, we encourage children to be children with a spirit of joy and wonder.

  • Speyer’s main admissions entry points are Kindergarten, Fifth Grade, and Sixth Grade. (Note: we do accept applications for all grades; however, enrollment availability varies from grade to grade based on each grade’s specific enrollment. )

  • If a family has more than one child, and each of those children is applying for entry to different grades, the family may receive notification for all applicants on the earliest notification date of the grades to which the children have applied. Reply dates will remain unchanged.

Founded in 1965, ISAAGNY aims to ensure orderly, professional, and equitable admissions processes at member schools: we do so by observing a shared admissions timeline, engaging in professional development to hone our collective craft, exchanging resources and best practices, and more. The resulting spirit of cooperation serves schools, families, and nearly 30,000 students across greater New York.
